Ohlendorf to throw off flat ground Friday
Things are looking much better for Ross Ohlendorf –who hasn’t been able to pick up a baseball since August 23rd.
On Friday, at PNC Park, Ohlendorf will throw off flat ground.
Since going on the DL with a right-shoulder strain, he has been limited to exercises and was working with a physical therapist.
Ohlendorf will progress to throwing off a mound the final 2 1/2 weeks of the season. No decision has been made yet on whether he will continue with the program after the season ends on Oct 3rd, or if he will be shutdown until the 2011 season begins.
