Thomas signs a minor league deal, Moss may be gone?
The Pirates re-signed left handed reliever Justin Thomas to a minor league deal for the 2011 season on Monday. He will also receive an invite to Spring Training. Thomas was 0-1 with a 6.23 ERA in 12 appearences with the Pirates.
According to Rob Biertempfel of the Pittsburgh Trib, He believes Brandon Moss will not be back with the Pirates for next year. Moss is a free-agent and has not lived up to the potential when he was key piece in the Jason Bay trade in 2008.
